Jillian began her formal studio art training in 2008, building foundations of fine art and design based skill sets with a mass communications focus. After graduating Western Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication in 2012, she began a consultancy career in Denver, CO and went on to collaborate with the Harvard University Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments, the Yale School of Management, and the Villanova School of Business. In addition to her private work, she also held formal marketing positions at the Wharton School of Business, Stryker Medical and currently serves as the Associate Director of Recruitment Marketing and Communications at Northern Michigan University. In 2017 she began painting and exhibiting her work in gallery shows and continues to consult on creative direction for local art councils and organizations.
